Pros

(Applies to Business and Technology Consulting only) Hmmm ... this is a tough one ... not many pros compared with other small or mid-size consulting firms. If you are part of a group "clique" you might be OK. Some very nice people; others are "robots".

Cons

(Applies to Business and Technology Consulting only) - Arrogant, command and control leadership that 'whipsaws' from priority to priority. - Consistently confuses "thud factor" of work with quality of work. - Myriad, over-engineered internal procedures; clients find them too heavy at times. - Forget work/life balance; if you aren't emailing at 10:00 PM or later you are considered lazy. - Bankrupt culture stuck in old-school "Partner" mentality and hierarchical stratifications. - Original thinking and innovation not encouraged in day-to-day practice. - Tiny annual bonuses given in the unspoken name of "be committed to investing in the company's growth".

Pros

Good Benefits, Generous amount of Holidays and PTO, Hybrid

Cons

Long hours, Toxic culture, Aweful management who have inflated egos that treat staff as they are minions, with no respect. AWFUL pay rate, Sept to January you will have no life during open enrollment. Non stop travel, mandatory Saturday work during December. Every day you work 8:30 - 5:30 then you are expected to go home and work more overtime during busy season. Mandatory OT can be upwards of 10 plus hours per week.
