Pros
Experienced hires can command good salaries. Good job security. HR did mitigate issues between attorney staff and non-attorney staff when they arose. The partner I worked for was open to reasonable changes and helped maintain a lean team that was not too overworked.
Cons
Boring work. long hours, bad pay. Once again, most of the issues could be traced to my partner who was an incompetent attorney and an incompetent leader.
