Pros
the flexibility to work remotely
Cons
very little accommodation was made for people with anxiety and depression disabilities and no understanding was given from senior management. Getting the accommodation available involves filling out a bunch of paperwork and a doctor communicating with HR on your behalf. And in my case, HR disregarded everything my doctor sent in initially and stated they reached out for clarification. When I talked with my doctor, they did not receive that clarification request. My direct supervisor said I was just being sad and everyone has trouble focusing at work at times, in a dismissive response when I approached proactively before a seasonal depression period. if your manager doesn't like you, you can't succeed suppose you ask questions about being assigned to a different team because your manager did not accommodate your disability. In that case, senior management will caution you against raising concerns, and then the company will "downsize you" and mark you as unhireable for any future position at the company. the company does not believe in cost of living increases to salary, and believes raises should be merit-based, but constantly moves goalposts on these merits.
