Pros
Great benefits, wonderful offices in SF, and lots of smart people working on interesting projects. It's also software that powers lots of wonderfully creative work so you feel like you're making the world a little more creative.
Cons
Plenty of politics and territorial disputes. I created and helped develop an area that generated millions in revenue for the company. Sounds like a lot, but for a company the size of Autodesk this wasn't that big of a deal. Still, it was enough for a coworker to get me fired so that he could help a friend take it over. Boss went along with it and told the state of California that I quit. HR didn't respond to any questions and I eventually had to print out emails to prove my case to the state to qualify for unemployment.
