Pros
Smart company at the top, they offer good software, some of us get to work from home
Cons
Depends very much upon what you may do. Autodesk Consulting is a backwater of the country and has poor management in the delivery area. It is chaotic with almost no stability. As a project manager in this area, expect that yes, you can often work from home, and yes, you get paid pretty well, but also yes, you will be stressed out, yes, you will be overloaded with process, and yes, you will be given expectations that are nearly impossible to meet given poor systems and poor upper level management. Not much for promotion opportunities either as a project manager, and many of the project managers are forced to spend their time on internal processes and accounting processes much more than actually managing projects. Also, expect many people with small jobs and big attitudes including project accountants.
