Pros

Work with some good people who have become good friends. Company offers great benefits & pay.

Cons

Good friends don't necessarily make "good workers". It's hard to find employees at Atlas who know that work is not a 4 letter word, so the work load is carried by a few while many collect the pay & credit for it. The only place I have ever worked that has more management positions than hourly employees. Our location has 7 salary management people and 4 hrly. As the saying goes, to many chiefs and not enough indians. All management shows up if & when they feel like, play games, chat up a storm, then out to lunch, expense it & never return for the day. Big discrimination difference for pay rate from females to male. And finally the company is so big with so many applications and softwares that even the people in charge of them can't keep track or provide direction on how to use them.

Pros

Good company, good culture overall

Cons

Pay could be less than the market, though not too low. Work life balance does cover some of that gap

Pros

Coworkers are great Many problems so you stay busy as a CI person The people at the worker bee level are the only real pro

Cons

Managers are too “wise” You can’t change anything inside the ERP but they all want ERP changes (it’s bad you will get frustrated) Super decentralized meaning all building operate how they want to. They make it sound like a strength but it’s literally their biggest weakness. Managers do not understand processes USZ or the NSC in Charlotte has a serious issue of hiring people who are not qualified for manager roles as managers. Discrimination They care more about how you look and not so much about the work you produce
