Pros

Beautiful outdoors and wonderful friendships

Cons

Aspen Skico is owned by the billionaire Chicago Crown family. The patriarch, Lester Crown, admitted to bribing public officials and got caught lying about it multiple times. Infamously, Aspen Skico fired local folk singer, Dan Sheridan, after he was requested to sing his most famous song, "Big Money Ruins Everything." Only after international media exposure, did the company invite the local singer back (he declined) but still to this day, bans his song from being played in any of their many hotels or retail establishments, some of which are on the public lands of the American people. They regularly retaliate against any union activity by their employees, including banning elderly women who criticize their illegal labor practices from National Forest (the people's land) under their purview. These illegal practices are tolerated by the head government bureaucrat of the White River National Forest (Scott Fitzwilliams) who previously worked for them. They have captured local political officials and the judicial system. Members of the Crown family tweet out pictures of Supreme Court justices visiting their homes. Some believe that their corruption has ruined life in the small town of Aspen.
