Pros
Financially stable company. They are trying to be future oriented, however they are going about it poorly. 3 weeks of vacation to start and moving to 4 weeks is nice. Medical was good, now fair and if you have family coverage you are better off finding it elsewhere. Tuition assistance, was there now gone. Competition still has it as well as profit sharing.
Cons
Layers on layers of management, ever changing direction. PEMCO oh wait let's get rid of all of those people. Oh we need more feet on the street lets hire a bunch of ADR's. Nope to expensive they have to go as well. Oh wait we need more upper management. Management is the one group they won't get rid of. Pay and commission plans, no raises after promised in town hall meetings but Arrow buys 2 more companies. Upper management gets raises and more stock options, but the sales people get nothing. If you bring the company $20 million in sales shouldn't you get a commission check? Maybe, but only if you grew your sales 20% year over year when you have 95% share in your accounts. I forgot, Arrow Electronics is a distributor, there should be stock. Nope orders canceled everyday because you won't stock inventory or it gets sent to another customer because you don't hold parts to lead time.
