Pros

I worked at Arrow for a graduate school internship. Overall, the company was competent, the hours are reasonable, and most coworkers are friendly, competent individuals. The focus of the organization is finance and sales though, not technology or innovation. So if you are looking for a sales job or a role as a financial analyst, this could be a great opportunity.

Cons

If you aren't in sales or finance, it becomes clear in the company culture that you are less important. Also, if you weren't an athlete at some point in college you probably won't get considered for any high-up position. The "Five Years Out" slogan is nothing more than a glossy multi-million dollar campaign from a New York Ad Agency, and certainly doesn't reflect the culture or philosophy of the organization. Arrow succeeds more on its vast scope of sales and operational efficiency than it does on innovation or moving technology forward. Many of the management philosophies and technology used within the company, especially workflow, marketing, and analytics software, are clearly dated, which doesn't seem to fit with a company pushing "innovation."

Pros

I had a very positive experience interning at Arrow Electronics. The management team was supportive and approachable, and communication was clear and consistent throughout my time there. Expectations were well‑defined, and I always knew where to go if I had questions or needed guidance. My coworkers were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, which made collaboration smooth and enjoyable. Arrow also has a strong support system in place for interns, which helped create an environment where learning and growth were encouraged. Overall, Arrow Electronics provided a well‑structured and professional internship experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the team. I would recommend Arrow to students looking for a solid and supportive internship environment.

Cons

I truly cannot think of much other than IT related hurdles which slowed down progress on my projects initially.

Pros

Very good benefits and nice co workers.

Cons

A lot of mandatory overtime, hard to balance work and personal life. Some management can play favoritism.
