Pros

- New site manager is a breathe of fresh air to a site that was plagued by poor leadership and poor safety considerations. New site manager walks the talk and takes safety seriously and fights the pushback when cost concerns are raised for correction of safety matters. - Safety awareness rising, less frustration now amongst the shopfloor as things are slowly getting better. Incidents are not swept under the carpet when it is raised in the proper channels. -Site learning and development is good. Unit has a good process trainer who was with us since 2021, and knowledge and information are openly shared by him. A lot of emphasis also placed by the trainer on development of SOPs and RAs. Hence, operations are now more stream lined and safer. - HR team open to feedback and suggestions. Driving T&D across site.

Cons

- HR team can be a bit confusing sometimes with the implementation of things as well as their role and stance in disciplinary matters. - Cost cutting pressure intense. OT cut to absolute necessity but not stopped if it is justified. - Bad initial design considerations still haunting the site to date. Arkema has very poor project team with poor understanding of basic design considerations (too textbook and cost cutting at design just jaw dropping).
