The job I have is great: interesting and challenging. I work on a great overall team and manage a great small team. I like what I do.
Cons
The HR (People &Culture) team is the biggest challenge in this company. Bureaucratic. Dumb policies, of which the DUMBEST is that you cannot hire remote people without an act of god. It was FINE during the pandemic because it suited them, of course. It doesn't matter to them if someone is the best person for the job; it is more important that they sit in an office. ...why? No one can explain it to me. We. are. a. GLOBAL. company. We work remotely from each other EVERY DAY. And btw, people on my team who work remote who already feel disrespected by this. Like they are now a second class citizen because of this policy. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.
