Stock Manager - Anonymous employee Argos Employee Review

The hours as a manager are ridiculous (and anything over 38.75 is "goodwill") I'm all for pulling your weight but Argos takes advantage of this and uses it as free labour. I moved around several stores and several different management positions. Some were good, others awful. The internal politics at management level are shocking and it's very much a case of your face fitting. I encountered a culture of fear that forced me to hand my notice in and take a substantial pay cut in order to escape the culture.
