Micromanaged constantly by real time and managers constantly feeling under pressure if you are keyed off to do something besides phones they make you go back on the phones even if there is a small queue and don’t understand how being on emails or back office can be something you are looking forward to all week as you only get to go on it half a shift a week which is much better than getting constant beeps in your ear. This job is very difficult sometimes having to be fca compliant dealing with complaints without having good enough training. We have to deal with vulnerable customers even if they say not been well had the flu or something we have to question them which can be uncomfortable at times and try to get it noted on their account which is so much hassle if it’s during a serious call like a complaint, get called all the names under the sun belittled by horrible customers and we can’t even hang up. This job has truly messed up my mental health and I hate working here I only stay for the money until I get a better job I dread coming here. I have tried my hardest here and never get any appreciation my calls and figures are the best on the team but I don’t even get a lousy love it reward yet the people who are no good at the job get constant praise most of the managers pick favourites and often pick who gets best duties based on their social circle.
