Pros
- Hours given in advance - Opportunity for extra hours - Good xmas do in when I worked in a Cornwall branch - Good while studying, I transferred between two branches very easily - Simple work, chance to move around and do a bit of everything - Staff of all ages to mix with - They didn't mind if we chatted in down time
Cons
- Any staff above 'entry level' are painfully superior - I worked in two branches hundreds of miles apart while at uni, both were the same. - Can get very busy - Little opportunity to progress and no staff development - Messy and disorganised 'warehouse' area - Staff rarely follow correct procedure to improve efficiently which I found frustrating - Got called off lunch if it was really busy
