Pros
I can't speak for other offices, but I have enjoyed my time at Andersen Seattle. Andersen places a heavy emphasis on its people and so far, this holds true. As a new associate I have found that management as well as senior staff are there to help you learn, rather than just walking you through the steps. The expectation for new staff is growth/quality of work, rather than utilization.
Cons
Investment in technology, although, I personally see a benefit in the lack of automation & outsourcing (allows new staff to gain a comprehensive understanding of tax)
