      Pros

      The work is meaningful and rewarding and opportunities to travel when disasters happen and make great friendships.

      Cons

      Terrible pay for the amount of work expected. No overtime or bonus pay. Work practices/policies are always changing and go in circles. It can be very stressful work and many employees don't handle it well and the worst can come out in them. Very top heavy management, you'll have 5 bosses minimum.

      Pros

      My experience working with the Red Cross has been great. The work is fulfilling and the people are passionate. Benefits are good - Kaiser is $6 a month!

      Cons

      There is work life balance, but there is an expectation to work nights and weekends.
