      The mission is a worthy one.

      - technical support is out of date (in the one year I was there we changed cell phone providers twice and computer systems 3 times) - unclear goals and expectations - non cohesiveness between national and local boards - low pay - high turn over

      Pros

      My experience working with the Red Cross has been great. The work is fulfilling and the people are passionate. Benefits are good - Kaiser is $6 a month!

      There is work life balance, but there is an expectation to work nights and weekends.

      I liked working four 10 hour days

      Cons

      I worked with a very rude colleague that was taking edibles during work hours. I told my boss and nothing was done about it.
