Pros
Great mission. If you have the right combo of luck, grit, savvy and sponsorship, you can move up. Lots of ex-ATT-ers and other downsized industries at the exec level so there is a lot of experience to learn from. Good ppl are there.
Cons
ATT is probably not the best talent source for a service mission, actively-being-disrupted organization. TREMENDOUS cronyism. Can't emphasize enough. You need to come from private sector to get director or above. It's a privilege and a choice to work at a non-profit, lot's of folks working there don't get that.
