Pros
The people: my co-workers are great and my Manager and Director, past Managers and past Directors, all great people and all people who appreciate and value people. Work-Life Balance: When you work in Support, there are naturally ups and downs in workload, but overall the work-life balance is good Interesting Technology and Products: Very interesting technology to work on. Recently, ventured into 5G and we're working on new technologies like Kubernetes and Docker and microservices. So we're cutting-edge. Team-Building: Team outings and events contribute to higher eSAT Working-From-Home: Since COVID, the company has greatly expanded its working-from-home policy (and even working remotely, in various provinces and states and countries... we are a global team, but thanks to applications like Microsoft Teams, we are a very cohesive team)
Cons
The pay: The pay is not low, but it's a bit below market, so it could be better. Also, they have not kept pace with inflation (though I'm hoping to see some significant adjustments this Summer). The recent bonuses have been a bit disappointing. But, at least they give bonuses. :)
