Pros
Relatively stable large organization with very good benefits package. Because of the acquisition of Bemis it provided Amcor with a strong selection of excellent products to bring to large companies in the CPG world
Cons
The organization spends top dollar on consulting firms (Boston Consulting, McKenzie..etc, but refuses to listen to its employees. Many managers have little to know experience in the role they are in. Amcor is now a training ground for inexperienced to lightly experienced sales people and sales managers. If considering a sales role at Amcor it should be noted that your performance is only as good as the account base that you have. No growth accounts will me little bonus potential. Trying to build a territory with new business is difficult because the Amcor business model doesn't support small companies with potential. The business model is for large companies with existing business. Get as much salary as you can up front. Do not go on "earnings potential"
