- Smart people, strong teamwork and empowerment (feel like you can make a difference) - Excellent products and support of eye care professional (most cases market leadership) - Good annual merit increases (typical = +3%, high performers earn more) - Good benefits (including free contact lens for family and no co-pay Novartis/ Sandoz prescriptions) - Excellent 401K company match (+6% match) - Good work / life balance
Cons
- Understaffed in some support functions - Some business units silos exists - Ownership by Novartis is a plus in some cases, but comes with many extra regulations, restrictions and training that our competitors aren't subject too. Slows down approval process
