Pros
Very rarely are employees micromanaged, and if so, the reason is usually because the manager in place is new to the group or recently promoted. There are numerous opportunities abroad if you would like to be come an expat.
Cons
From a technological standpoint (employee experience) the company is several years behind. Much of the software and work processes are outdated and can cause for very frustrating experiences. Base compensation is average/below average and perks are practically non existent. Maintaining the status quo is very much preferred. Perhaps the biggest con is how achievement is recognized: if one appears to bring results you will be rewarded as such. A high performer is one who management most recently remembers during the annual review process.
