Pros
Very nice group of people, treating each other with respect. Genuine interest in helping others. Your ideas are valued and you have the freedom to carry out your ideas to execution.
Cons
The overall standard here is very, very low across all areas: - Management team is incompetent and no one seems to have been trained properly on managing people. There are way too many "managers", some managers are surplus to requirements. - Short-term focus, strategies are set up to gain some quick wins (like undercut hotel's prices) but changed monthly since quick wins and taking shortcuts aren't sustainable for building a business. Hotel partners are usually upset with how the business is conducted here. - The work is very challenging, not hard but challenging because there's a complete lack of support from other teams, you're pretty much on your own once you start. Your peers will help you if you have questions but other than that, you have to do everything from small to big tasks to handling tough conversations from hotels as a result of bad business practices. The root cause here is the wrong business focus, if they were to focus and care more for partners, they would have invested more in building strong support teams to make sure partner's satisfaction is at the highest level. Of course, that mindset doesn't exist here. - The tools and systems are poorly maintained and break down all the time, local operations team aren't capable of handling basic business needs. - Average benefits and salary, if you're exchanging your labor for money, and for all the little things you have to do here, you aren't compensated fairly.
