Pros
Great mission and values. If you like helping people, directly or indirectly, it's very rewarding to work for a hospital. Marketing department is filled with young people (27-40s) so its great to work with other like-minded young professionals.
Cons
Since Florida Hospital is so large and is non-profit, salaries for non-clinical positions such as marketing salaries are not that great comparatively to the rest of the market. Hard to maneuver through the organization due to its size and silo-like nature of multiple locations and functions. Promotions and pay increases do not occur often and should not be expected.
