Pros
Nice work environment - nursing staff and doctors are most always pleasant to be around as well as the janitorial staff and other hospital staff. Hospital is fairly clean but in spite of that there are regular occurrences of MRSA in patients which is something you have to be pro-active about with personal hygiene. The free expression of the ministry of Christ is a comforting reality in the hospital. It is not overbearing, and makes the patients feel good.
Cons
As is usually the case, the corporate level and the managers are not always in touch with the ground floor. There is way too much suspicion on the part of management and corporate and they monitor their people so heavily that it becomes a bit insulting and invasive. Also, corporate will make poor decisions based on finances. They think they are saving money by pushing their employees out the door and rushing them through their work but this reflects poorly on the hospital and patients notice it. It also makes the employees feel less valued and lowers the level of care to the patient. Nothing in healthcare should be rushed. If the hospital wanted to save money, they could do it in less destructive ways.
