My team was severally short-handed, and we had to do 20-hour shift on weekends for milestone yet expected to return to work on Monday. Such milestone was only there because management somehow believes it's achievable to make up for previous schedule lost and did not want to allocate additional resources. Also, all management are flying in from Spain, leaving a decision making team not familiar with local market and environment, as well as killing the progression path for local staff. They already lost a project in Vancouver because of this and clearly they did not learn the lesson.
