Pros
Accenture offers: * A fantastic client-base. I've had a chance to work with some amazing clients. * Plenty of opportunities to travel. I have seen some beautiful cities thanks to Accenture being a globally-focused company. * Working with great people. Many of the friends I've made were once Accenture employees. * A multitude of industries to work in. There are opportunities, depending on your skillset, to work in almost any industry (government-based, utilities, chemicals, products, etc).
Cons
Accenture's cons: * No work-life balance. Sometimes there are 60 hour weeks. This doesn't count time spent in airports. * No support for flexible work arrangements. You're at the mercy of the client, and sometimes the manager (if he/she doesn't like you). * Fairly widespread disregard for following some company policies. Many times managers will write their own rules. * Brown-nosing is a must if you want to get ahead. Often the amount of participation and leadership in corporate-driven optional (read mandatory) initiatives are more valuable to your review than the work you're doing on a project.
