Pros

- some nice fellow wage slaves

Cons

- No personal support, this includes mental health support or outlets for career advice - Very little professional development support, taking advantage of unknowing grads is half of their money making strategy - Underpays by industry standards - Skirt the law in many ways pertaining to how they will treat you and expectations of your work - workplace culture centred around old school agressive competition amongst employees leading to unhealthy workplaces with people undercutting each other to scramble the ladder and workplace politics including pandering to the boss for promotion and working 24/7 - Promoted only if you're willing to work 100 hour weeks - Do not invest in your growth - Consulting Structure is to charge very high and pay employees as little as possible to do the work - Talks a big game when it comes to equality, however old school boys club is alive and well here and their 50/50 by 2020 is being filled by putting women in traditional gender roles, not actually creating change - Culture of bullying and MDs playing favourites. Completely unprofessional with both clients and their own staff - Pay lip service only to being Truly Human - Do not have your own opinion here if tou

We appreciate your feedback and we are disappointed to learn this has been your experience. What you describe is not the kind of workplace culture we want for any of our employees, least of all our graduates. In fact, we pride ourselves on creating a culture and environment where everyone feels valued and supported. I would like to offer a conversation to learn more and see what we can do to support you. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner so that they can follow up personally and discuss your experience in confidence.

Pros

Hands down the best company I've worked for. It's fast-paced, but Accenture genuinely empowers its people rather than micromanaging them. The benefits are a real priority — they invest in your physical and mental health, offer a generous amount of PTO, and there are legitimate opportunities for promotion if you put in the work. If you're someone who gets bored easily in a role, this is one of the few places where you can stay with the same company and reinvent your career multiple times. The investment in training and upskilling is heavy and ongoing. And the culture around authenticity is real, not just a poster in the break room — especially in the neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ communities, you're encouraged to bring your whole self to work and be comfortable being you.

Cons

This is not the place for you if you don't like change. Pivoting is constant, and keeping up with the latest industry trends can be uncomfortable at times. The sheer size of the organization means it can be hard to find the information you need, and learning the internal infrastructure takes a while. You'll also run into some negativity from folks during tough stretches — but honestly, if you're coming from a turbulent work history elsewhere, you'll recognize that this is much better than most.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
