Pros

- You can develop your business as you wish, not being restrained by sectors or others - Close coaching at every-step. It's easy to become cocky and ego is part of the job, but there is competent senior management at every step to drive in the good and the bad moment. - Bonus for individual performance, reaching your target, the bonus can almost double your salary - You can develop your business as you wish, not being restrained by sectors or others - Close coaching at every-step. It's easy to become cocky and ego is part of the job, but there is competent senior management at every step to drive in the good and the bad moment. - Bonus for individual performance, reaching your target, the bonus can almost double your salary - Accountability, we are accountable for everything. We get the chance to cover the full cycle, from hiring the consultant to manage him, do the prosecution meeting to the delivery review meetings with your customers. - Fast evolution, a good positioning and a good performance on delivery can allow a very fast career evolution that is not achievable somewhere else. - People, the team is incredible at all levels. I am impressed by the solidarity of the team in such a competitive environment and individual assessment - Do attitude. The motto is to do it, only the result matters. It can be seen as selfish and inhumane, but the reality is we have to do our job if we want the other to keep theirs. - Flexibility, the group is massive, career opportunities are everywhere if you know where to look and be patient.

Cons

- Workload, don't expect a 40h/w, it's a competitive business environment and the tasks are just endless. Up to us to put our own limits. - Frustration, it is part of the job, but frustration is here every day, you have to learn to manage it to not get eaten by the weight of it. - Training, the scheme and possibility of trainings for consultants is diverse and tailored, the managers haven’t access to training apart the internal process to apply. - Coordination, for business development, it’s open fire, so be faster than your colleagues or the business will go to them even if you worked 2 years on an account, and them one meeting. - Company information, it is difficult to get info, and a true marathon to find and reach the stakeholders you might need. You need to go through X layers of hierarchy and retaining the information is key for you to develop your business faster than the others. - Company Vision, each manager act differently, though the vision of Alten is complicated to grasp and our consultants are easily lost between two managers and feel left behind.

Thank you for writing this review. We are glad to see that your experience with Alten is overall positive. It is important to also be aware of our areas of improvement to keep getting better. While experiencing fast growth and development, workload can indeed be high at times, but we are regularly recruiting and offering time management courses to our employees to ensure this does not get overwhelming. On that note, I would also like to highlight that business manager do have access to training programmes to support them in all aspects of their roles (prospection/business, recruitment, people management, behavioral skills, etc). Every business manager is responsible to develop their own customer portfolio, and as they are acting as entrepreneurs within the organisation, we do not wish to restrict them on which potential clients they should or should not address. We trust their judgment and business abilities on it. There is however some structure, with yearly and half-yearly business plans that are carefully monitored by Division Directors, and regular industry related workshops to provide the business managers with the means and information they need for their prospection. I fully agree that we can still improve in many ways and your feedback is invaluable to help us in that. Please be assured that we will keep working hard to constantly improve.

Pros

I have been with the company for several years and have had a very positive experience overall. The company offers strong opportunities for career growth, especially for employees who are proactive, take ownership, and consistently deliver results. Internal mobility and leadership opportunities are available for those looking to advance their careers. Compensation is competitive within the industry, and performance is generally recognized and rewarded. While there is always room for improvement, I feel that the company provides fair compensation and good opportunities to increase earnings through career progression. Management is supportive and accessible. As with any growing organization, I have found leadership to be committed to employee development and business success. There is a strong entrepreneurial culture that encourages initiative and accountability. One of the biggest strengths of the company is the variety of projects and clients. Employees have the opportunity to work across different industries, technologies, and business environments, which helps accelerate professional development and keeps the work interesting. Pros: * Strong career development opportunities * Diverse and challenging projects * Supportive and entrepreneurial culture * Exposure to a wide range of industries and clients Overall, I would recommend this company to professionals looking for growth, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Pros

• Talented employees who genuinely care about customers, consultants, and each other. • Strong technical expertise and exposure to large, complex client programs. • Opportunity to learn resilience, problem-solving, and how to operate in challenging environments. • Significant growth potential if organizational barriers can be addressed. • Many good people working hard to achieve success despite limited resources.

Cons

• Decision-making is often highly centralized and slow, limiting agility and responsiveness to market realities. • Leaders are frequently held accountable for ambitious growth objectives without corresponding authority, resources, or support. • Heavy emphasis on activity tracking, reporting, and process can outweigh focus on outcomes and execution. • Limited willingness to challenge long-standing practices, even when market conditions or employee feedback suggest change is needed. • Leadership diversity and diversity of thought remain opportunities for improvement. • Employee concerns are not always translated into meaningful action, which can contribute to disengagement and turnover.
