Everything is wrong with this company.
They are so cheap you don't even get your own LinkedIn recruiter account. Or maybe it's because they know you will quit in less than a year.
Recruitment is also a fancy word for what is really just personal information collection. If you're an engineer candidate don't be surprised we don't talk in details about the job descriptions Alten has for you => there aren't any ! We say we have a lot of them in different sectors but it's not true. Business Managers collect CVs they can show to clients, pretending these candidates are part of their team, so they can gain business. Alten lies to his clients and to all candidates.
As recruiters, we have objectives on how many candidates we call every day. Every Friday is a one to one meeting when you need to justify your results. The targets are unrealistic, don't make sense and we all work on the same jobboards. So we just jump on any new CV we can find to reach our target, wether we have a job for you or not (usually we don't).
So your day to day job is to call as many people as you can, as if you were in a call center, to trick candidates to do an interview when you have no job for them. You're wasting the candidates' time at his finest and give them pure fake hope.
The working environment is also dreadful. The working hours are 9 am to 6 pm. But if you have the audacity to try to leave at 5.55 pm one day although you didn't take any small break all day, you get a nasty reminder you don't get to leave 5 minutes early as it's not professional.
To sum up, if you want to keep a clear conscience and be a minimum valued, don't join Alten.
