Very low salary, no formal / structured career progression. There are many useless managerial roles which are over paid and typically deliver low value to the company. Tradies receive way more money then the engineers, even though the engineers are often capable and need to assist and are bought in when jobs are too difficult for the tradies. The engineers are also more valuable in terms of work scope then tradies but recieve less.
