      Pros

      Every day is different. Have to be creative to solve daily problems and meet customer demands

      Cons

      Is 24/7 facility so working min. 50 hrs weeks in person and more while home. Use to be run like a fam. business. People worked for years. Now, is a stepping stone for many and there has been too may lay offs.

      Good pay, benefits, and time off

      Cons

      The IT org is constantly going through layoffs. The work is going to managed service providers in India. The whole process is clown shoes. They are letting people go that have been here for 20+ years that have so much knowledge and expect to transfer it over to workers who are extremely siloed, who might not even be around in 6 months(the retention rate for this particular MSP is abysmal). These workers are not even dedicated to 3M, they have many other projects. I’m concerned for 3M’s IT future. Walking over dollars to pick up pennies
