Pros

- Salaries are pretty good - Environment in the office can be pretty good, depending in which office you work at - Not much micro management.

Cons

- TL;DR: STAY AWAY. All the bad reviews you read here are true. Do not trust the good reviews, most are left by people who just started. Look at how many job positions are constantly being opened on Linkedin. - Completely unstructured company playing the startup card to squeeze employees like lemons by requesting all sorts of different tasks that are NOT in their skill set. Processes do not exist, and you can be blamed for not taking ownership of those processes. - You are hired with a job title, only to soon find out you will most likely be doing EVERYTHING BUT what you were hired to do. - They don't care for how long you have worked there. If you do not generate what they call "impact", even if it's a useless initiative that does nothing, you will be kicked out. You are constantly being pressured by higher ups to come up with new ideas and processes, to the point of being toxic. - The onboarding process is awful. You get close to zero support from anyone, unless you are lucky enough to have a good Lead and team mates. You are pretty much left off to find things out for yourself. - Toxic CEOs. All they care about is numbers. CEO truly believes that bonuses are bad. Also believes that WFH is not good for the company. CEO believes that 10% turnover rate is "normal". Anytime someone mentions salaries, CEO will get very annoyed and defensive. - You can be in an office, and your Lead may be working in a DIFFERENT CONTINENT. Sure, pretty normal these days. The problem is when your lead does not care about you, and in the course of months, gives you, if you are lucky, one feedback session. Great way to support people, especially the ones who are new to the company.

Hey you, thank you for your feedback. We value every message and your feedback is important to us. We are sorry that you haven't had the best onboarding experience at Emma which is truly not or intention. We want every Emmie to feel welcome, feel supported by their team, but also be self-standing with their own projects. We are still a very fast growing company where process needs to be developed and changed sometimes as well. We are aware of that and continuously trying to improve ways of working. We want our employees to take ownership about projects and work for those topics they think themselves they can create a high value for the company but also for their professional & personal development. This gives our Emmies the chance to develop into new fields they haven't though of before and even might not be what they have initially applied for. Thank you again for your feedback as this is very valuable for us. All the best for you! Isabel

Hey you, thank you for your message and for giving us feedback. We are happy to see that you like your time at Emma so far. As we are still a fast growing company things might sometimes be a little back and forth. We are aware of this and working on our processes. We believe in collaborating with each other in our offices is more stimulating why we ask our employees to com 2-3 days per week to our office. This gives space to work at the home office every at least for two days. We are happy to have you on board! Best Isabel
