Pros

Great benefits and reasonable salary. Competitive workforce with some enthusiasm. Encourages its employees to learn through courses within and outside the company. Upper management has sound business strategies.

Cons

There is no effective method of measuring workforce competence. Peer evaluation is too subjective with no focus on results whatsoever. Without that measurement, middle management tends to lack responsibility for its own decisions and actions, employees motivation decreases as they don´t understand what they should do to improve on their careers. In an environment like that, prejudice from old employees regardless of their competence, tend to prevail on any discussion. Those old employees with all due respect, may lack the global perspective of our business and they are not willing to change or take risks.

Pros

Paid vacation, 401(k) match to 6%, decent health insurance options

Cons

Forcing a return to the office across the company when it reached its peak in sales, production, backlog, and market cap after five years of working from home or a flexible policy. The justification? Drinking from the cool-aid "culture". Lots of micro-management, too, and the environment does not foster innovation, despite all the ads (management definitely doesn't walk the talk). No recognition of long tenures, aside from nice speeches and maybe a slice of pizza (or a cheap pin on your lapel).

Pros

-It’s not a job everyone, but if you have a satisfying life outside of the company, and you’re well-versed (at least 5 years of experience) with Adobe software, this is a fantastic position. - Solid pay overall, but not great for the local housing needs (at least at the time, while single) - lots of perks like: complimentary laptop, laptop bag, corporate cell phone, paid subscriptions for design programs/services, paid travel for design events, paid classes for skill development, powerful and high-end equipment, and occasional free meals -inspiring team, lots of expertise in certain aspects of design -having an innovated and go-getter attitude can make a difference very quickly

Cons

- lots of office politics and cliques - certain team members have superiority complexes - team supervisor does not have a designer background, which can lead to ongoing misunderstandings as to how the process works or can be executed. Can also lead to occasional belittling and negligence. Will often say “we hire smart people to tell us what to do, not the other way around”. - interior design team is responsible for many high-stakes deliverables with short lead times. Often you will be expected to knock out precision-heavy graphics in under a few hours while juggling surprise meetings and/or other inconveniences - some essential and confidential design tools are dated, making the process inefficient, while needing to be efficient to succeed - when a hot project pops up, employees are expected to work as much as necessary, whenever necessary, to accomplish it. Direction in these times can be messy, and management can be disrespectful
