I've lost all respect for this company
Pros
Good people in individual departments. Lots of free food.
Cons
Upper management and HR are completely out of touch. I worked here for over 18 months and during this time, reached out to HR multiple times for change of address. They never reply to emails or phone calls. Here I am, nine months after leaving Elior, with no tax forms because they never changed my address. Bear in mind, relocation was part of accepting this job, yet they never seemed able to change my address. I was unable to receive insurance benefits during my time there because they sent the benefits election package to an address I no longer lived at. The icing on the cake was when I was given an ultimatum by HR. My son developed a chronic, life threatening illness which required my direct involvement with hospitals and doctors. I applied for FMLA protection but the hospitals/doctors were not doing their part in a timely fashion. This did not deter from the fact I had documentation which attested to my son's condition. HR blatantly told me if I miss more work, I will be considered to voluntarily resigned. I was under a lot of emotional stress and finances were already strapped, but I did not let their threats intimidate me. I gladly took my leave from this company. I have more cons but fear I will run out of space.
