Pros
Working at Ecolab has been a mostly positive experience for me. One of the biggest pros is the team environment—I’ve been fortunate to have great coworkers who are supportive and easy to get along with. The overall workload is manageable, and once you understand the daily flow, the job itself is pretty straightforward. That ease makes it less stressful compared to other fast-paced roles I’ve had in the past.
Cons
On the flip side, there are areas that could use improvement. Training is limited, and it often feels like new hires are expected to figure things out on their own. Management, while approachable, can come across as inexperienced and sometimes lacks the leadership depth needed to guide employees long term. There’s also little room for pay increases or career advancement, which makes it difficult to plan for the future here. Another drawback is the lack of a night shift premium—working nights can be tough, and the absence of an additional incentive makes it harder to justify long-term commitment to those hours.
