While hiring former colleagues can bring familiarity, it's essential to ensure fair opportunities for all employees. Excessive micromanagement—such as requiring updates on logistics and post each meetings update, can hinder autonomy and morale. Moreover, perceived preferential growth for select individuals may impact team dynamics. Ecolab has always been a Great Place to Work, and I continue to hold that view. However, it may be worthwhile for global leadership to remain attentive to such developments, as they diverge from Ecolab’s inclusive culture.
