Pros

Ecolab is a relatively stable company, compensation is about industry average, the training programs are decent (LSS, Culture & Inclusion). I was given a chance to work in new areas of supply chain and learn from experienced associates, there are still some good people there.

Cons

Talent drain is non-stop, it seems like if a person is half-way competent they spend a couple years there, get frustrated with the antiquated systems and thinking and move on to bigger and better things. Supply chain is looked at as strictly a cost-center, therefore the amount of investment and focus within the company is commensurate with that approach.

Pros

Good Benefits Package. Salary OK. You can make some good money if you work 26 hours a day.

Cons

Upper Management is out of touch with what is happening in the field. They only go by what is happening on paper and their computers. In the Field Training hardly exists when you get hired. Comissions have been reduced to a point where there is no drive to sell certain products. Work / Life Balance is almost impossible. Ecolab is very behind in equipment technology. Employees are not given the proper tools and equipment to work with in the Field. Too much Corporate Politics!! Everyone is afraid to voice their opinion in fear of being "Marked". Once you are marked in this company, you better start looking for a new job. You will have people in high places that will burn you in order to protect themselves and cover up their bad decisions or lack of participation on projects. Many managers need to be reviewed for their knowledge and performance. Not reviewed by their manager who is just as bad as the managers below them. They all coverup for each other by making the field people look like they did not do their jobs correctly. Ecolab Board of Directors really needs to take a look at some of the upper level management for what they ARE NOT.
