No upper management support and no life work balance

Company car and some what OK benefits

Cons

No work life balance. Company does not take into consideration the personal time you put into the job. No support and poor training from upper management. Poor employee recognition. If you have poor expectations out of your career this may be a good company for you other wise there is so many others that will care about their biggest asset. The field employees. No real culture at some of their divisions like Global Retail or Hospitality.

Pros

I was a field rep, so there was a lot of autonomy with working from home and making your own schedule. You get to work with and understand many different industries and their processes.

Cons

Nalco's biggest competitors is their selves! Way too many layers of red tape to get help in the field from corporate. I'm not sure how all of the has changed since the Ecolab takeover...
