Lots of Responsibility, but Employee Focused
Pros
- Decent pay w frequent opportunities for bonuses - $600 - $900 monthly bonus for making quota - Company vehicle with fuel card; lenient towards using it for personal use - Flexible working hours - Generous overtime up to 20 hours a pay-period - 'promote-in-place' process and/or opportunities to promote into different roles
Cons
- TRs manage a large territory alone (2 hours of driving corner to corner) - TRs must respond to calls and emergency service requests as needed, making you perpetually "On-Call" - Rotating weekend On-Call coverage covering the district, an area thats about 4 hours of driving end to end. - No central office or warehouse; TRs must order parts and equipment to their own home. - Delivery time is very slow, often not arriving for 2 - 4 weeks after placing order, which can cause a real scramble if equipment needs repair parts immediately. - Company pushes a lot of extraneous responsibilities onto the Reps such as collecting outstanding bills, picking up machines from former customers, placing orders for customers, tracking orders, performing digital maintenance on customer accounts. - Company is very aggressive towards increasing sales and is continually pushing new quotas onto TRs
