      Good Pay, willing to invest in employees & training, values safety

      Cons

      Before you take a job with Eaton, we aware that the company frequently makes employees take a week (or 4) off without pay...and then reports record profits. Be sure to ask for 5-10% more to compensate for this. Some of the safety rules are well intentioned, but have so much interpretation, process, and regulation attached to them, that are not helpful and employees...and may times are circumvented as a result.

      Pros

      Excellent staff of coworkers who are very supportive, Decent Pay and Work/Life Balance.

      Cons

      The top management is all run by friends who leave no stone turned to mock people. Very biased that leads to lack of motivation in coworkers. Coworkers (including I) chose to keep mum due to retaliation as even the EA management is very well connected with upper brass. Toxic environment but pays our bills. Work from Home is a boon as we don't have to see their faces.

      Pay is ok, but not worth it.

      Cons

      Poor leadership. You are just a number, not an employee they want to develop genuinely. If you do the programs they promote, they will find a way to not pay you the money you earned. I can go on and on saying how terrible the Beltsville site is. Just do not waste your time, it is not worth it!
