Very ethical company Great knowledge base of experienced engineers Good community feel Great graduate scheme (for those with Masters degrees) Great learning opportunities, internal training Global company, diverse interactions

Cons

Very metrics driven organisation, delivering results in metric form is vital for climbing the corporate ladder. Customer focus, loyalty and good reputations have suffered a bit in the last few years due to attempts to do more faster with less.

Pros

Most of the time you don't have to work more than 8 hr per day. There is many help in any project that you require to do.

Cons

most of the design projects will end up being outsourced. there are not many design projects, so not too much to learn. There is too much bureaucracy involved and that will slow down any progress

Pros

The core company values are excellent. As is Sandy Cutler's Message. Customers are the focus of everything we do; strong ethical values; quality matters. It also has good systems and tools to help drive improvements.

Cons

Too financially focused, causing core values to get lost in translation as the pressure continues to hit numbers regardless of the cost to the customer or employee. Expects too many hours. Lots of Over-time is an expectation of employment, so work life balance is not supported. Vacation policies are out dated. Can't go from 3 to 4 weeks until after 15 years. If employees are working such long hours they at least need time away with their families.
