Pros

Aerospace products are quite interesting.

Cons

Eaton have broken IT systems, complicated processes and no disregard for their customers. I found them to be very misleading towards their customers and spoke poorly of them behind their backs. It's a revolving door of people in and people out, you won't get treated well.

Pros

You get to work most weekends and Holidays, even though they tell you these are days off and part of your benefits package

Cons

Millennial leadership who got raised on participation awards who apparently never got challenged with the word NO. If you have a position that gets asked decision questions, if your answer is what they want to hear they're OK. If you give them a fact-based God's honest answer they don't want to hear, "You need to consider how you're perceived by leadership because this will affect your year end review." Better yet, they manage by results knowing nothing of the floor because all they know is staring at spreadsheets. This place is the most unconnected, unorganized organization I have seen. It lacks leadership from the top as they have no connection to the floor. Executive leadership is worse, doesn't matter because the plant manager doesn't advocate for the customer or for the people. I give this place 3 years before it gets shut down and moved to Mexico and Poland.

Pros

They will work with you when you need time off for kids, appointments, etc. They are very good about that.

Cons

It is the very worst example of American Corporate Culture. Nothing matters, except the bottom line. Do more with less. They want you to get it all done, but they don't give you the tools to execute. And - no matter what you do - it won't be enough. You could work 60 hours or more a week, and you still will have things you didn't complete or get to. And those will be the very things they will go on about. Don't bother giving your opinions. If they don't match the "Eaton" culture, then you're seen as "difficult" or "negative". Just say "yes" to everything you're asked to do - no matter how non-value-added or redundant. Otherwise, you're not a "team player". Leadership is a revolving door. And - leadership changes the priorities from quarter to quarter, so you're never really sure what's important anymore. Not to mention - leadership is often divided on what should be a priority. Operations versus Customer. Customer Service versus Supply Chain. Supply Chain versus the world. Promises are made, but rarely followed through. They are said just to keep you there. Without a degree, you are a non-person.
