Pros

Avant-garde. Always going for the latest and greatest. any Eaton employee is guaranteed to be way ahead of colleagues in sister companies.

Cons

Not very effective at detecting and changing mi-level deficiencies in management styles. Although means are in place (survey, ethics line, Ombuds office) issues are shrugged off as not meaningful.

Pros

Provides excellent training and development opportunities. Supports employees in stretch assignments. Strong values-based culture. Strong emphasis on ethics. "One Eaton" philosophy ensures common business practices and alignment across all our business units.

Cons

Conservative and slow in decision-making. We have an Inclusion and Diversity initiative, yet we preach the Eaton culture and try to "Eatonize" all our acquisitions - slightly oxymoronic.
