Pros

I recently finished up a summer internship with Ernst & Young and I will soon be starting as a staff auditor. From my limited experience, I can say that E&Y wants you to succeed, and the company puts its employees first. Working in a team environment aids in development because you are forced to develop good communication skills, and, eventually, leadership skills. Also, I became a quick learner while on the different engagements. There are a plethora of ways to get involved with the firm on a volunteer basis outside of the office. Fellow employees are smart and driven and outgoing for the most part.

Cons

I have not been with E&Y long enough to say that I've encountered any downsides while working for the company.
