Pros

Ernst & Young has a good reputation which helps in the job search. The client serving side is probably much sharper than the back-end support because performance can be effectively judged.

Cons

Ernst & Young has a two track system and those on the support side and not on partner track are definitely second class citizens.

Pros

Brand, challenge, learning opps., very smart people at all levels, quality clients/assignments, they'll feed you as much as you can chew early on and reward producers. Intense knowledge growth and broad industry learning to those with any appetite for project work.

Cons

Some partners that have unreasonable expectations of staff and don't walk the talk about valuing people. Firm seems to reward ony those that deliver technically or economically. Stakes are high so could be expected I guess. You better like financial modelling my friends!!
