Dear former colleague, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We regret that you cannot recommend ERGO as an employer. We would like to better understand the points you have raised. Unfortunately, they are formulated in a very general and not very tangible way. We would appreciate it if you could tell us more specifically what your individual perception is based on, gladly by email to: annika.segermann@ergo.de. Toxicity at its finest

Pros

+ Fair initial agreement payments, paid on time.

Cons

- Probably the wage you agree upon hiring, will be the one you 'll get until your leaving, as raises are an unknown/exotic word. - Unrealistic amounts of work. Each day demand is growing, but resources remain the same. - Culture is a joke, as no one talks to nobody. First time in my life I came across "teams" that sit next to each other for 5days/week, 8+hours/day and they don't exchange a single word. First time in my life I say "Hi" or "Good morning" to colleagues and they don't respond back. Many times I am heading towards the elevator and I see them pressing the button nervously, in order for the elevator to start and avoid contact. - No one is eager to help you, to guide you, to show you things, to transfer knowledge, to develop you professionally. Instead they are playing the blame game 8 hours/day. They treat responsibility as a bomb they throw to each other and they wait to see where it  explodes. Even if they know that the bomb will explode in your arms, nobody will protect you, because the mindset is "better in your arms, than mine". Everyone is for themselves and tries to avoid responsibilities. - Expressing opinion is strictly prohibited as middle & upper management have to hear only what they want/need to hear and not something that may sound odd or unpleasant to them, even if you tell them that the Earth is round. If they believe that is flat, then it's your fault and you have to concur with their opinion.
