Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're so glad to hear that you enjoyed the company culture, international environment, and events here! EF does have HR, but it might not always be called HR in every region. In some countries, the HR function is split between the Recruitment & Employee Development (RED) teams, Payroll, and Legal. For any HR related questions or concerns, we recommend that employees contact their RED representative, who can guide them further. We hope that you felt supported during your time at EF, please feel free to reach out directly to hr@ef.com if you have any suggestions or would like to share further. Thanks again for leaving a review.

Pros

Good benefits, average pay, and flexibility when it comes to work hours, as this position was more of an as-needed basis for events and activities. Can meet a lot of great people, both students and coworkers.

Cons

Department heads chose favoritism of personality hires over work ethic, rewarded those who did the bare minimum, and stunted the growth of those who exceeded expectations. Ultimately left because I could not shape or grow the department into a well-oiled machine because of the refusal to let go of incompetent employees because they were "too close" with the head of the school. Also, if you have any sort of medical leave, expect to be fired upon returning even though it's against the law.
