Pros

Working with so many different nationalities Course texts are pretty good (when available) Teachers help each other out

Cons

They hire many part-time people so they don't have to pay benefits The pay Students don't like their accommodations You may be told teach a wide variety of random courses You may have big, unpaid gaps of time between your classes Management will move students up a level if they complain enough

Pros

EF has an excellent benefits package and is filled with bright young enthusiastic staff - loads of people who are very interested in both travel and education can make it a great way to get some exposure to the world

Cons

Sales and marketing focused results in a lot of turn-over in those roles, and the culture is very heavily based around internal networking to be successful

Pros

Travel. Working with education. Working with Students. Great place to get initial sales training.

Cons

Ridiculously low salary with no adjustments for location. I worked in one of the most expensive regions in the country and had to make due with a very low Denver salary (35k/yr). Management is inconsistent. I had some great mentors and managers there, as well as some who were a joke. There is very limited upward mobility. As a top performer, the recognition was limited.
