      Pros

      The founders are amazing, kind, brilliant, and amongst the hardest working people in the company. Duo's culture is interesting, very fluid and ever changing and flowing, the employees are genuine, kind and hardworking. The people are what makes Duo different from anywhere else, the "no jerk" policy is critical in keeping Duo the best place on the planet to work. These people work together as a unit. Always teaching, learning, growing, building, inventing, creating, inspiring, motivating, and changing the world each day as a team. I am very proud to be part of such an astounding group of people.

      Cons

      Not all members of the management team have the same vision or aspirations and goals for the future of the company as a whole. Management can be quite sexist. As a whole everyone (especially management and HR) is more focused on our rapid growth and less about their current employees.

      Thank you for your honest feedback. I'm deeply concerned about your comment that "management can be quite sexist," and hope you might speak with me or P&C in confidence about this. We will not tolerate workplace discrimination of any kind. It's important to me that everyone at Duo has the opportunity to do their best work, and a voice that matters. Supporting our employee-led initiatives (such as women@duo) is part of this, though we need to make sure these are effective, and not just token efforts. Building an inclusive culture is not easy, and we can always do better.       Pros

      Making money. Free cheap food some days (pizza and bagels). Crappy free coffee. Nothing else but this section requires twenty words.

      Cons

      Fake, inauthentic culture . Undermining coworkers. Incompetent management. Deceitful labor practices. Unknowingly staff drones think its like Silicon Valley. Avoid unless you like working with nasty alcoholics (have keg onsite... to seem "cool").

I take all feedback very seriously, and would appreciate you sharing your experiences in confidence with me, as our other systems for anonymous and open dialog (employee engagement surveys, Ask Duo Anything forums, etc.) seem to have failed you. I want Duo to be a great place to work, but also a great place to have been from.       Pros

      Duo is a great place where high-performers can do awesome work and have fun at the same time. Here, culture is not just idealistic words on paper--it is lived. Our cofounders are inspiring. The energy is contagious. Love it.

      Cons

      We're an established start up, so there are still some growing pains, but feedback is regularly solicited and actions are taken to move forward.
